What is ASDA?
ASDA stands for the American Student Dental Association. ASDA is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests, and welfare of pre-dental students.

How do I join ASDA?
If you are a Baylor pre-dental student who wants to join ASDA, you can do so through Connect! On Connect you can request membership for ASDA. If you have any questions about this, please contact Nathan_Truong1@baylor.edu.
How much are dues?
$30.00 for a semester OR $50.00 for the full year.
How often do you meet?
ASDA has general meetings every other Monday.

How long are the meetings?
Meetings are an hour long. They are from 6:00-7:00 pm CST in-person.
Are the meetings required?
Yes! You need to attend a minimum of 4 meetings to be considered an active member.
What are the different types of membership?
SILVER MEMBER:

Eligible for Silver Member Scholarship ($300)

Strongly recommended for the Pre-Health Committee

Eligible to apply for Committee positions

Meeting requirement: Attend at least 4 meetings/semester

Social Point requirement: 20 points/semester

Service Hour requirement: 20 points/semester

Minimum of 10 points of service through ASDA activties

1 large service events required (2 large service points)

10 points can be from other organizations

Must submit Outside Service Form

Is there transportation to off-campus events?
Yes! People are always carpooling to events together. Carpool forms are always being sent in the GroupMe before social events.
